J'ai un devoir à rendre en anglais et je ne suis pas sûre que ce soit rédigé correctement, enfin, je ne sais même pas si il est bon. Si quelqu'un de fort en anglais pourrait le corriger ce serait parfait. Il y a parfois quelques répétitions, je ne sais pas trop comment les éviter. Donc voilà le devoir:
The american people celebrate columbus day the 2nd Monday of October. Christopher Columbus landed in the new world in 1492. The first celebration of Columbus day in the United States took place in 1792, in New York, this is also the 300th anniversary of this discovery. In 1892 Benjamin Harrison encouraged americans to celebrate Columbus day. In 1937 columbus day becomes an official national holiday.

It's a good paragraph in general , a little grammar mistakes that could be solved with practice ! First sentence would work better if you said : American celebrate columbus day on the second monday of october of each year . This day is very important in the United states . -
